Answer: I know when i had black mold in my old apartment from a waterleak that i was unaware of till i moved out. At First i thought they were just hairballs on the floor. But as i got closer i realized it was mold. It was black and looked like hair on the baseboards of my carpet. you know like when you clean your hairbrush out and you have a clump of hair. Thats what it looked like for me. Although i know it can look like normal "Patches" of mold like spotting only its black. it can take on many different looks but mold is mold and mold is bad.
